House of Freedom Church | January 2026
This past year was a year of ups and downs.
There were moments that encouraged us deeply—and moments that were, to be completely honest, frustrating. Ministry is rarely linear, and 2025 was no exception. Since 2022, attendance has been down. Some people have left. That’s the reality. But through it all, God has remained faithful, and we have seen Him at work in ways that cannot be ignored.
We don’t want to mince words, but we also don’t want to lose perspective. God is still moving. God is still building. And God is still calling His people forward.
Standing Firm in Calling
As the pastor of House of Freedom, I stand by what I preach—commitment to God above all else. That commitment extends to my family, but it also extends to this church family. Our heart is simple: we want you where God wants you. If God has called you here, then we want to walk together in obedience, faith, and unity.
FOCUS is not just a word for us—it must become a lifestyle.
What FOCUS Means for Us
FOCUS means being:
Fixed fully on building our faith
Fully obedient
Fully committed
Unified with one another
Submitted to serving
This is who we are. Not perfect people—but a committed people. A people willing to grow, stretch, and stay faithful even when it’s hard.
Our Strategy Moving Forward
This newsletter—and now this blog—is meant to keep you informed. We want to be transparent about what is happening, what has happened over the last year, and where we are headed in the months ahead.
There is a lot happening at House of Freedom. Some of it you’ve seen already, and some of it is just beginning. As we move forward, we’re asking everyone to FOCUS together—on God, on community, and on the mission He has given us.
Thank You for Your Generosity
We want to sincerely thank you for your generosity throughout 2025. God truly blessed us. He remained faithful, and we are confident He will always provide.
This past year included meaningful moments such as our Christmas party, Communion services, and a powerful youth-led Sunday service. Hope House ministry and many other outreach efforts continue to be a testimony of God’s goodness.
While our income was lower than in 2024, we brought in $______ during the year. We used $_______ for ministry purposes, resulting in a $3,575 deficit. Even so, we continue to declare what Scripture says is true:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not LACK.” — Psalm 23:1
We lack nothing.
